Places I've lived

Places I’ve lived

1966 – 1973

730 East Geranium Street, Sandy, Utah

This is the house that my parent's bought soon after they got married. It is the house I was brought home to when I was born. I lived there until I was 7 years old. It was a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, cinder block house. This picture was retrieved off the internet in 2010. It was likely taken earlier that same year.

1973 – 1984 and 1984 - 1986

2610 West Carson Lane, West Jordan, Utah

This is the house I “grew up” in; most of my childhood and teenage memories center around this house. I lived here from the time I was 7 until I got married at 17. After a short marriage, this is also the home I came back to after my first divorce and lived here again until my second marriage. This home had 3 bedrooms upstairs when we first moved in and an unfinished basement. We put 2 more bedrooms in the basement. My mom lived here until the end of 1993.

February 1984 – July 1984

69 South Main rear, Midvale, Utah

This is actually a picture of the landlords house. We lived in a chicken coop that had been converted into a small 2 bedroom apartment/house behind this house. We didn’t live here long, because the marriage didn’t last long. This is where Brandon, my oldest son, was born two weeks after we moved in. I left his dad in July of the same year and moved back home with my parents.

1986 – 1987

Approximately 7950 South Main Street, Midvale, Utah

I lived in these apartments for just a year after I married Stuart. The middle section was not enclosed when we lived there. If you went through the doors you can see here, we lived in the second apartment on the left on the second floor. We had Brandon and Josh at the time.

1987 – 1988

4545 Atherton Drive, Murray, Utah

Atherton Park Apartments:

We lived in these apartments for almost 2 years. This is where Kaci was born. You cannot see our apartment from the street, but if you drove up the drive on the right side of the screen to the building in the far north-west corner, our apartment was the top on the north end of the building; #120 I believe. This was the last apartment I ever lived in.

1988 – 2001

2864 West 8200 South, West Jordan, Utah

This is the house I raised my children in. It sits on the south end of the West Jordan High football field. I lived here through most of my marriage to Stuart and my entire marriage to Will. It had 5 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, although there were hookups for a second bathroom in the basement. If you look, you can see the playhouse that Will built for the kids in the back yard. We planted that tree in the front yard.

2001 – 2002

7941 South 3620 West, West Jordan, Utah

We only lived in this house for a short time. We had lost the house near the high school, but I didn’t want the kids to have to change schools mid-year. When we lived here, the roof was not pitched and the right side of the driveway was gravel.

2002 – present

1347 West 1800 North, Clinton, Utah

We were lucky to find this house during the 2002 Olympics. This was a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with an oversized garage. We felt like we were living like royalty. We lived here while I attended Weber State University and got my bachelor’s degree and teaching certificate. I also started working for Davis School District at Kaysville Junior High and completed my master’s degree at Utah State University while living here.
